Dr. Evans is a native of New Mexico. She grew up showing American Quarter Horses in all around events. Upon completion of her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from West Texas A&M in 2002, she traveled to Castellaneta, Italy to train 2 year old reining and cutting horses. Upon return to the States, she entered a Master's degree program at Colorado State University. She graduated with honors in August of 2004 with a Master's Degree in Biomedical Science. She has always had a love of animals of all kinds. Her childhood dream was to become a large animal veterinarian. She always loved working with her hands so she explored the holistic approach of chiropractic. She made the decision to come to Parker College of Chiropractic in 2005. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in May of 2008. Dr. Evans completed the 220 hour animal chiropractic course from Parker College of Chiropractic in August 2008, and passed the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association's (AVCA) certification exam in Miami, OK in September 2008. Dr. Evans is an AVCA certified doctor, and she is currently licensed in Texas and Oklahoma as a chiropractor. She is happily married to her husband Don. Together they care for their "children", which include 2 black lab retrievers and 3 American Quarter Horses. Dr. Evans is also a PSIA certified snow ski instructor, as well as, an avid outdoors person enjoying water skiing, horseback riding, and hunting with her husband.
